President’s Message
Greetings and Welcome to the official website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,
Incorporated ®, Tau Lambda Omega Chapter. It is my pleasure to serve as the current president of this chapter.
Chartered on April 12, 1992, Tau Lambda Omega Chapter proudly serves the communities of Trotwood and Miami Valley. Since its inception, the chapter has grown from 25 charter members to over 60 diverse and phenomenal women.
Under the leadership of our International President & CEO, Ms. Danette Anthony Reed and our Great Lakes Regional Director, Ms. Gwendolyn L.
Kirtley, our chapter works tirelessly to implement the 2022-2026 International
Program Theme of “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood ®.”
This administration has six initiatives. Strengthen Our Sisterhood serves as
the administration’s “Foundation Initiative” as we strengthen our bonds to be of “service to all mankind.” The remaining five initiatives are:

Build Our Economic Wealth™
Enhance Our Environment™
Advocate For Social Justice™
Uplift Our Local Community™
